Mark Henry is only nine years old, but he already has long teeth! The
young resident of Francis Lake is the very new memberof the Guinness book of
records for the biggest tooth: an incisor of 2.28 cm long and 1.2 cm broad,
an orthodontist of the area called it "the monster".
"It was really large and they decided to tear it off." Explain the young Mark.
The extraction, occured on 18th of January, 2005 and was indeed necessary in order to make room for the normal sized teeth to develop properly.
The dentist, Dr. Gabriela Gandila, who extracted "the horse's tooth" as she calls it, suggested to the family to contact the Guinness book's
officials regarding this unusual aspect which, latter on, proved to be a genuine record. |
