The Romanian orthodoxe church "St Nicholas" has been built at the beginning of 1994, by decision of The General Assembly of part of the members of the Romanian community of Montreal and suburbs.
After all the formalities of recording like non-profit organisation in Canada and Quebec and under the canonical jurisdiction of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America -"Vatra" - USA et Canada - (Orthodox Church in America), we had the first Holy Liturgy at August 15th, 1994 - at the feast of Dormition of the Virgin Mary -, in the Anglican church " The Advent " of Westmount, P.Q.

Since then, we have made efforts for collected money for the "Fund of purchase or construction" of a church and still do.

As you see, we collected more than 82.800 $. We invite you to make gifts for which you will have to receive tax credit.

Among other measurement to make grow this bottom, we made the decision to sell religious icons rolled or framed and to make Web pages. The benefit of those two products are intended for the " Fund ". For details, write at: atvl@yahoo.com
